Meet the Team

My name is Ben McMurray, 

I have been in the construction industry for 20 years.

I am Married with 4 kids. 

I majored in operations management at the University of Alabama.

Baldwin county has always been my home. I was born at Thomas hospital and have always appreciated our great local communities and everything this area offers for a great quality of family life and fun.

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends on the water and in the woods.

Joe was born in Charleston, SC before moving to Gulf Breeze, FL where he attended High School.  His family moved to Fairhope in 1996 were he now resides with his wife Amanda and their two children.  He is a graduate of the University of South Alabama, where he also played baseball.  He joined Delta Companies in 2020 and he spends his free time either at the ballpark or on the water with his family.

With over 10 years of experience in the construction industry, Purnell Green  is passionate about bringing projects to life with a strong focus on quality, safety, and collaboration. As Superintendent at mcmurray contracting , he takes pride in ensuring each project runs smoothly from start to finish, fostering strong relationships with clients, contractors, and team members. Outside of work, Purnell enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 kids and being a mentor to the youth community by coaching local sports , which helps maintain a balanced and driven approach to both work and life.

A native of Fairhope, AL, Jason Steingrubey is an experienced Estimator with a solid foundation in cost analysis, project evaluation, and construction budgeting. With over 7 years in the industry, he has developed a keen eye for detail and a thorough understanding of construction processes, Jason is adept at providing accurate estimates for a wide range of projects, from residential to commercial developments

A lifelong resident of Baldwin County, Jo Ann enjoyed a banking career for 20+ years, 15 years as admin director of a nationwide coin operated amusement vending company, and has worked in accounting for the past 6 years. 

She and her husband, John, will celebrate 50 years of marriage in April. They have three children and 8 precious grandchildren.  She especially enjoys being a mom and grandmother, her family, friends and all things outdoors.
